Tru-Mah-Col Association for the Education of Young Children
is a nonprofit volunteer organization incorporated in December 1984 and is dedicated to providing early childhood information and resources to our membership and the community we serve.

The ultimate goal of Tru-Mah-Col is to have an educated membership who will enhance the development and education of young children by creating developmentally appropriate learning environments.

Tru-Mah-Col AEYC accomplishments include:

  • Providing scholarships to University students pursing an early childhood degree
  • Yearly training institute
  • Literacy workshops
  • Your CDA Connection
  • Certified Training classes
  • Annual Awards Banquet
  • Resource library for membership
  • Strategic planning meetings to improve services to members
  • Focus Newsletter
  • Week of the Young Child activities
  • Membership meetings ( informational and networking)
  • Administrator meetings
  • Collaborative relationships with Child Care Connection, State Support Region 5 and NOLA to provide literacy workshops and educational programs

The Tru-Mah-Col Governing Board is comprised of approximately 26 volunteers who are responsible for various program areas. The Board meets on the second Tuesday of the Month at West Fork Restaurant on Belmont Avenue, Liberty, Ohio at 6:15 PM.  Meetngs are open to all members. Please contact Lora Comichisto for reservations.
