Tru-Mah-Col Association for the Education of Young Children  is a nonprofit volunteer organization incorporated in     December 1984 and is dedicated to providing early childhood information and resources to our membership and the community we serve.

The ultimate goal of Tru-Mah-Col is to have an educated membership who will enhance the development and education of young children by creating developmentally appropriate learning environments.

 

Mission:  The mission of Tru-Mah-Col AEYC is to promote  high quality care and education in an effort to advance the growth, development, and educational attainment of every child, birth through age eight.

Ohio Wins Race to the Top

Early Learning Challenge Grant!
Early Childhood Advocates,

The U.S. Department of Education and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced today that Ohio is one of nine states chosen who will receive a Race to the Top- Early Learning Challenge Grant!   Exact award amounts have not yet been released, but Ohio is eligible for up to $70 million during the next four years.

 

DIA CELEBRATION

April 30, 2012

El dia de los ninos/ El dia do los libros, Children’s Day/Book Day is a community-based, family literacy initiative celebrated across the country.  Its goal is to link all children to books, languages and cultures.

Tru-Mah-Col AEYC in collaboration with thePublic Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County and the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library are planning a Dia Celebration for Monday, April 30, 2012 .  The librarians will be in touch with Daycare/Childcare/Preschools in their area to offer a multicultural program of books, songs, fingerplays, and crafts either at the library or at their facility on that day.  If you are interested in being part of this special day, please contact Nancy Stallsmith, n.pauls@sbcglobal.net.

The Tru-Mah-Col's Board of Directors is comprised of many volunteers who are responsible for various programs and committees. Committee Meetings are open to all members.

Ohio AEYC offers a payment plan designed to make membership easier on you and your budget.

How does the payment plan work?
Rather than making a large, single payment each year for membership, our payment plan allows you to spread the cost of membership over a five (5) month period.

Student membership is five (5) monthly payments of $15
Regular membership is five (5) monthly payments of $18
Comprehensive membership is five (5) monthly payment of $25

A valid credit card is required and all payments are non-refundable.
The payment plan is a special service that is only offered through Ohio AEYC.
